Hours Worked – presents the number of employed persons aged 15 and over by hours worked in all jobs in the week prior to Census night. This excludes any time off but includes any overtime or extra time worked. Hours worked provides information on full-time and part-time employment. For Census purposes, a person is considered to be working full-time if they worked 35 hours or more in all jobs during the week prior to Census Night.
Employment - represents the number of people employed by businesses / organisations in each of the industry sectors in the defined regions. In this report the employment data is place of work data and represents total numbers of employees without any conversions to full-time equivalence.

All figures, data and commentary presented in this software are based on data sourced from the Australia Bureau of Statistics (ABS), most of which relates to the 2016, 2011, 2006 and 2001 Censuses, and other government agencies.
Using ABS datasets and an input / output methodology industrial economic data estimates for defined geographic regions are generated.
