Regional Development Australia – Riverina is part of an Australian Government initiative based on building partnerships and ensuring that all governments and stakeholders are responsive to local priorities and needs. It is a conduit between government and local communities, and a provider of information. RDAs are champions for local communities, working towards developing local solutions to local problems, and ensuring the prosperity of the regions.

Stretching 500kms from east to west across south-central NSW, the RDA Riverina region (map) covers an area of almost 80,000 square kilometres. The region is home to approximately 170,000 people (2016 Census), many who rely on the region’s largest employer – agriculture and related businesses – for their livelihood. The region encompasses 14 Local Government areas, and is home to the the major centres of the City of Wagga Wagga and Griffith.

RDA-Riverina supports business development and growth across the Riverina region and is committed to providing business operations with helpful resources, advice and expertise. RDA-Riverina supports start-up businesses, provides regional networking opportunities and assists established businesses looking to expand.
