Method of Travel to Work - records up to three methods, or means, of travel to work on the day of the Census, for each person who was employed during the week before the Census. The question on method of travel (Question 45 in the 2006 Census) allows for multiple answers in all categories except walked only, worked at home, and did not go to work; for example, a journey to work by car as the driver, by ferry and then bus, would be recorded as such.

Employment - represents the number of people employed by businesses / organisations in each of the industry sectors in the defined regions. In this report the employment data is place of work data and represents total numbers of employees without any conversions to full-time equivalence.
